Insta Tabs - Medical Label Design
Insta Tabs is dedicated to making child healthcare friendly and accessible with thoughtfully designed medical labels for children’s medicine. Our mission is to bridge the gap between essential health information and a child’s world by creating packaging that speaks to young patients and their parents.
Problem Statement:
Medical packaging for children often lacks appealing visuals and simplified instructions, leading to confusion and reduced adherence to medication schedules. The challenge was to create a label that resonates with kids while communicating essential information clearly to both children and adults.
We received a brief not to design the label as just another instant reliever, so I focused on Aloe, which is well-known for its quick healing benefits. Choosing Aloe as a character communicates the product’s gentle and effective properties.
Zappy, a bold and energetic mascot with a lightning tail, represents instant relief and action, while its vibrant yellow color naturally attracts the attention of children.
The final design features a vibrant color palette, easy-to-understand icons, and a relatable character mascot. All critical medical instructions are integrated seamlessly, ensuring the packaging attracts children’s attention and guides parents effectively.
