This project explores how cultural identity can shape contemporary packaging design. By studying Kerala’s visual language, natural symbolism, and sustainable traditions, the project investigates how local heritage can inform global branding. Through the redesign of The Body Shop’s Lotus Gel Cream range, the study translates mural-inspired forms, botanical motifs, and earthy palettes into a modern packaging system. The outcome aims to demonstrate how culture-driven design can create packaging that is meaningful, visually distinctive, and environmentally conscious.
